Hi, I’m Dee, a certified canine nutritionist and trained dog groomer, passionate about helping dogs both look and feel their best selves.

My unique background as a foster carer, multi-dog pet parent, groomer, and nutritionist allows me to approach canine welfare holistically, ensuring that each dog I work with receives the care and attention they deserve tailored to their needs allowing them to thrive from the inside out.

Groomer

Trained at the Dog Diversity Grooming School, I provide a compassionate, grooming experience that prioritizes safety, comfort and minimises stress for all dogs but especially nervous dogs.  In my home-based salon, there is ample time to give every dog the care and compassion they deserve.  I work with the dog and what they need, without the stress of being on the clock or around different staff everytime they come back for their groom.

Nutritionist

My focus is cutting through all the noise and misinformation that is very freely available on the internet to help educate pet parents so that they feel comfortable and assured feeding their dogs what they were designed by evolution to eat.  I advocate for a very simple food based approach rather than a nutrient centric approach and believe making food for our dogs is an act of love and should be as simple and intuitive as feeding ourselves.  Further this is the best way to help them thrive.

I also believe in minimising the toxic load on our pets and ourselves, so endeavour to use natural products and approaches to the extent practical be it in my grooming salon, on clients dogs or home.
