A Deshed or sometimes referred to as Groom Out, is where we get the dead hair out of your dog’s coat. We use lots of different tools depending on the specific breed to ensure the coat is not cut, broken or ruined. It doesn’t guarantee your dog won’t drop hair at all (that’s impossible & goes against their biological makeup) but it does decrease it considerably. Deshedding helps to keep your dog’s skin healthy, keeps them cool over summer, prevents skin irritations & allergies, prevents doggy smell. We bath, dry, deshed all over, trim nails, comb all over & then scissor tidy the feet and featherings (on a Long Coat) If a dog presents with matting or thick knots, they will need more time, and may need the knots clipped out.
